Two River Anglers Cafe | Cozy Riverside Dining & Fresh Local Flavors in Lackawaxen, PA

The food warms my heart. The autumn special pumpkin soup goes perfectly well with the biquette and is savory. The Hangover burger is so so good too. I had a good time looking at the river flowing next to me. I was even more grateful that all the staff were kind. I plan to go again when I have time.

I spent a wonderful few days in Pennsylvania, and the true highlight of the area was Two River Anglers Cafe. This family-run spot is full of heart and passion. Besides the restaurant, there’s a shop with Polish products and a fishing store next door where the “fish stories” actually turn out to be true. The food is excellent: fresh, locally sourced, and thoughtfully prepared. The menu is simple but full of perfectly balanced flavors, with creative twists on classics, like potato-and-cheese pierogi served with apple ranch or their cowboy burger on a brioche bun. I’ll be returning to Pennsylvania soon, and Two River Anglers Cafe is now a definite must-stop for every trip.

The menu is incredible and unique. I personally love the hangover burger and their fries for lunch. Staff is friendly and patient (when I can’t choose what I want bc they have SO many good options!) The space is beautiful and definitely my favorite spot to eat while looking out of their wall to wall windows- the view of the Lackawaxen River is gorgeous. Clean and quick service. 10/10 would recommend!

Recently stopped by the café during a family visit to PA. Our toddler enjoyed the french toast and delicious croissant. My spouse and I split the seasonal apple cinnamon crepes that were absolutely delicious as well as the classic BLT. The atmosphere is amazing for a quiet weekend away. We especially appreciated the children's reading corner that offered our toddler some books to read while we enjoyed breakfast.

Casual cafe where you order at the counter and pick up your food at the window. I liked the omelette with toasted bread I got! They have a nice seating area with tables overlooking the river.

This cafe is AWESOME! The location is perfectly situated atop the Lackawaxen river with inside seating overlooking the water. Keep an eye out for eagles whom circle the river and nests on the opposite side. All food is ordered in deli type setting with extremely friendly staff. They have a board full of fun specials and all the staples you could want for breakfast or lunch. Cold cuts are Boars Head. I ordered an egg & sausage on croissant and my wife a BLT. Both gave us such a home made feeling. Just delicious! Living nearby I will definitely return for a Sunday breakfast to go. After ordering we sat at one of their tables inside and overlooking the river. You can drink a beverage while admiring beautiful view until hearing your name called to pickup your food. Im happy to say this is now my favorite breakfast cafe in the area and will certainly return.
